Dr. Robert Chapkin, member of the Nutrition Research Core, received the 2006 Sigma Xi Distinguished Scientist Award. In the spring of each year an outstanding scientist is given the Distinguished Scientist Award. That individual is then asked to present a campus wide lecture the following Fall. Congratulations Dr. Chapkin!
Dr. Bani Mallick, member of the Biostatistics and Community Health Research Core, received Texas A&M's highest professional honor. Each Spring, Texas A&M University and The Association of Former Students recognize deserving faculty and staff members with the University-Level Distinguished Achievement Award. Congratulations to Dr. Mallick!
